Believer’s Rights

Your Christian Citizenship

But you are a chosen race, a priesthood of kingly lineage, a holy nation… (1Pe 2:9)

Christianity is not a mere religion – we are a nation. The international Christian community is the largest religious community in the world, comprising one-third of the world’s population (1.2 billion adherents). Yet, outside of the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church, we are seldom recognized diplomatically. If we don’t see ourselves as a Holy Nation, can we expect others to see us as a nation?

Nat-ion (n): a large body of people, associated with a particular territory [the whole earth], that is sufficiently conscious of its unity to seek or to possess a government peculiarly its own.

Until recently, there were 174 residential embassies in Washington, DC. Now there are 175 — the King’s Embassy being the most recent residential embassy in Washington, DC.

Thank you for the post on the Christian’s Bill of Rights.

Col 3:1-4 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (from New International Version)
